Tale of Unholy Matrimony: Ben and Erika Sifrit

The 23-year-old killer Sifrit couple, who had explored every other high in life, found a thrill in murder.

Erika was born in Roaring Springs, Pennsylvania, on February 3, 1978. She was always considered a gifted child and excelled at basketball. Realizing her talent, her dad even built her an indoor basketball court. With her big curls surrounding her face, and her megawatt smile, she was an only child, very dear to her parents. She was described as being highly disciplined and possessed a strong personality.

Erika also had OCD tendencies that made her repeatedly check her locks, the upper lock nine times and the lower lock exactly twelve times before leaving every morning.

She graduated cum laude from Mary Washington College. It was during this period that she met the charming, yet slightly paranoid, Ben Sifrit. With whom she eloped in Vegas after only knowing him for three weeks!

Ben was born on October 21, 1977. He was always a bit of a hothead and a bully. He graduated as a navy seal but was dishonorably discharged over repeated absences, insubordination, and most of all over wearing an unauthorized insignia: a swastika tattooed on his chest.
