A disappearance reported by the husband soon turned beyond ugly when a search warrant led to the discovery of the wife’s body parts.
February 9, 2007, was Tara Grant’s last day on earth- a few days before Valentine’s, when her otherwise peaceful life in the small town of Washington Township, Michigan, came to a painful halt. Her husband, Steven Grant, reported the crime on February 14, unraveling an investigation too gory and horrifying for their neighbors and loved ones.
Not A Perfect Marriage
Tara had big dreams from the beginning- she not only pursued business in her undergraduate but also soon started working with Washington Group International. Set up for a life of hard work, she married Stephen Grant. By 2007, Tara earned money for the house while Stephen looked after their six and four-year-old daughter and son. Unfortunately, a 19-year old nanny was also part of their family and was soon embroiled in the nasty web of lies and murder. The day before the murder, Stephen had slept with the nanny.
