On January 11, 2018, a classic but ugly tale of jealousy swept away one of the most promising black male models of not only West London but also the world. 25-year-old Harry Uzoka was a rising star, having modeled for A-list brands like Dior, Everlane, and Mercedes. George Koh, on the other hand, was also no stranger to success.

Quickly climbing up the success ladder, he had over 12 000 followers on Instagram. However, that success got to Koh’s head. Over a petty self-curated dispute, he stabbed his former friend in the heart. It is a tragic tale of the rivalry being blown out of proportion and the irreversible consequences of trigger happy violence.

There was no doubt that Harry was on his way to a successful modeling career. Signed by Premier Model Management, the company that launched Naomi Campbell, he was set for life. There were not many black male models in the London fashion industry, and Harry’s trademark poise was a welcome
