Parents build their children’s tomorrow. A father burning his children’s bright future with his own hands is kind of unthinkable. However, Mick Philpott, 56, was a disturbingly self-obsessed man with seventeen children from many wives and mistresses. But no one could’ve thought that he would be heartless enough to use his children as pawns for his gains. No wonder he was the most hated father in the UK.
Mick Philpott’s Dangerous Past
Mick Philpott was a man of many vices. Ever since he was a young adult, he would manipulate people, especially women, to get what he wanted. Anyone who crossed him reaped its outcome, and Mick ensured that. In July 1978, his 17-year-old girlfriend Kim Hill suffered a similar fate when he brutally stabbed her 13 times after she said she was leaving him.
Following this, Mick was charged with attempted murder of Kim and received a seven-year prison sentence in December 1978. However, he got released only three years and two months later. Even after his release, Mick continued to abuse, dominate, and beat women.
