Beaten to Death for Snoring Loudly
In 2019, the bizarre case of Eileen Bunting’s murder sprung up and gained attention all over England. Eileen was a bed-ridden patient in the Hull University Teaching Hospital for a couple of years. She was on her road to recovery when her annoyed roommate tried to kill her by brutally attacking her.
Two weeks later the attack, Eileen passed away from renal failure. However, the family protested and blamed Eileen’s roommate for the death. The hospital found itself under hot waters due to a lack of surveillance that led to Eileen’s alleged murder. The case was then dismissed, considering the death was due to natural causes and not because of the roommate’s attack.
