Intensely traumatic experiences during someone’s childhood can play a massive part in their transformation to adulthood. These experiences can significantly shape a person’s disposition and life choices, prompting research into the linkage between childhood abuse and criminal behavior. The claim isn’t that all abused children become serial killers, or that all serial killers are victims of childhood abuse. However, the connection between the two hasn’t been dismissed as just a fluke. One of the perfect examples for study has been Anthony Allen Shore, a serial killer, rapist, and child molester who spread terror among women for a decade.
