Wars are not only won by competent soldiers but also by smart-thinking leaders, and some generals in history have proven so by losing wars that could have been won.

Wars are crucial to any country’s military, and winning is the main aim. In war, it doesn’t matter who is right but who is left. In order to survive and win, the right military leader must be given the charge of leading wars and battles, driving the army toward winning.

Some battles in history have proven that dumb generals are incapable of leading wars and are doomed to lose.

Born in a middle-class merchant family, Antonio De Santa was a Mexican civilian who later joined the infantry. He was elected Mexico’s president in 1833 and fought battles later.

Antonio is infamous for leaving a legacy of disaster and disappointment.

Antonio put his interests first rather than the country’s, which led him toward doom and epic failures.
